This is my take on the whole Margarito Issue...

Great point. Mosley was the underdog BTW.

4 to 1 underdog to be exact. Not a lot of people thought Mosley would win, and nobody thought he would crush Margarito like he did.

My prediction was that he was in against someone too intense and physically strong, and was going to end up getting stopped on the ropes at some point in the later rounds.

Didn't HBO show Margarito's hands with the wraps after the Cotto fight. Didn't they show the same red hard gauze on his wraps after the Cotto fight. Somebosy please show the picture and shut up all these Margarito is innocent untill pre Mosley fight.

I believe he isn't remorseful. He still probably believes what he did was OK. The only thing he is mad about is that he got caught RED HANDED.

What I would do. Let Tony come out and say how many times he cheated, give him a 2 year ban afterwords, let him move on. His prime is gone and the only thing Tony has going for him is he can fight anyone in the Top Rank stable of WW without getting caught.

You know who you are!! Last week I got in an argument with another Marg fan about the wrap incident. I honestly don't think that Marg used the wraps for Cotto bout or any fight pre Mosley. Until he fights again and proves he can beat elite competition without cheating, all of Margarito's wins are going to be tainted.

I agree with this as well as TS. I think Marg beats Cotto 9/10 and doubt Marg could have gotten away with it so often before the Mosley fight. I also think that we'll know for sure if he continues to win in the same fashion, if something is missing in his punches then we will know what.

So your argument is that Margarito was going to cheat against a washed up Mosley who barely beat Ricardo Mayorga, but felt that cheating wasn't necessary against undefeated Miguel Cotto in a make or break fight for his career?

That... doesn't make much sense.

Mosley's stamina and chin have never been questioned.There have always been question marks regarding Cotto's chin and how he would hold up against a relentless fighter with a great heart and a great chin.



Margarito took the Mosley fight because he De La Hoya lied and backed out of fighting the winner of the Cotto Margarito fight like he said he would.Margarito obviously didn't take Mosley as seriously as he did Cotto and spent most of his training camp shedding all the weight that he had gained after trumping Cotto.

My opinion on Margarito:
This is a mans sport and he cheated or attempted to cheat. In my eyes he is garbage and doesn't deserve **** much less a second chance. He is trash, just as low as Resto. So motherFOK margarito and I hope every single event he is on flops so I don't have to see that POS anymore...

AND IF FOR ANY REASON, PAC is found that he cheated, I will think of him the same way. This sport is dangerous enough as it is and I don't need to see people putting others life at risk like this.
