Well if this is jealousy then I like it because it's making Floyd fight another guy Manny wanted absolutely no part of. Do you think it's a coincident that Floyd fought Manny's #1 nemesis (Marquez) and now the guy Manny clearly wanted no part of (Shane)? If Manny doesn't submit to random testing and fight Floyd after Clottey he is clearly a coward and would be shaming his country.
cmon no one is a coward in this.
If we as fans of the sport hate when fighters we like get called cowards then in turn if we are indeed true fans of the sport should not be casting he coward term elsewhere especially given the person in question and his penchant for fighting whoever up until now
Manny is all warrior let's please dispell the notion that he is a coward if he doesn't fight Mayweather because in all honesty all of this is jockeying posturing and more the teams than the fightersComment

1. Because Floyd doesn't get hit anyway... right?1. How is drug testing ever irrelevant?
2. What I meant by usurp was that the commission is dictated to by Pacquiao - who has set penalties for weight infractions far beyond their standard protocol for fights against Morales and De La Hoya. So why is it that he cares about their standard protocol in this case?
2. We are talking the anti doping commission here... weight is regularly negotiated between fighters. Besides, Pac obviously doesn't care too much about standard protocols if he accepted the blood testing up to 24 days and immediately after the fight.
If he was doping, why would he allow for testing right after the fight?Comment

So what is it based on. Manny should be so lucky Mayweather decided to pursue a worthy cause against Manny. Nah man, the accusations came out before the demand. "Philippines have best enhancing drugs.", "no man can be average then great later on in his career." That is all BS. For a man that does the same thing you do, that trains as hard as you do, bring someone down to raise your own status is a jealous ***** move.at least thats what you are hoping for but in reality you are not clear as to whether this is true or not
here is what is true with this
1. while people here are up in arms about Mayweather usurping NSAC and asking for his own set of rules regarding drug testing no one said a peep about Manny usurping NSAC's rules but asking for an unprecedented fine of 10 million dollars per pound.
In all seriousness why is it ok for one fighter to ask something like this yet not okay for the other?
also why is it okay not only to circumvent the rules of the comission but those of the sanctioning bodies because as it has been told to us the moment Mayweather say weighs in at 148 he is in the pocket to Manny 10 million. That goes against the sanctioning bodies allowance for a fighter to make weight in an allotted time frame if I am not mistaken
2. one man, only one, agreed to all of the stipulations presented. This wasn't Mayweather telling Manny "hey you and you only have to test" no he was willing (and is willing with Mosley as well) to subject himself to the same stringent tests.
Manny on the other hand had no weight clause stipulation for himself. He did not state that he too would be subject to the same rules only Mayweather was subjected to this.
so again someone tell my why this was unfair other than the fact it hadn't been done before (which IMDAZED dispelled)?Last edited by Alibata; 02-18-2010, 01:21 PM.Comment

Dude, back away from the commas and question marks.NO,,, from all accounts Mayweather signed NOTHING !!
I thought you weren't biased at one time but now I know your agenda is nothing more but Mayweather on all accounts no different that all the other *****s in ****eaters camp!

thats another great point that Mayweather detractors like to use in all this
I totally agree, But people would coming in with the "He didnt care to make weight against JMM" which is ridiculous because the fight is a Non-title fight.
I think Pac is allowed to get away with make stipulation e.g Making Cotto put his belt on the line at 145 while the commission allowed it.
they state that Mayweather couldn't bully around Manny and Manny's team into accepting because they know they have equal footing with Mayweather
well
shouldnt the same be said of Manny? we have all seen him demand that Cotto and his team agree to not only 145 but that his belt be on the line when they fought YET Cotto couldn't be allowed the luxury of being able to weigh 147 if he had to.
so again why is it okay for one side to cry foul about the "demands" a certain fighter makes but yet stays mum about it when THEIR fighter does it?Comment

sorry but again you are doing nothing but stating your own personal opinions and nothing factual and using quotes as "proof"So what is it based on. Manny should be so lucky Mayweather decided to pursue a worthy clause against Manny. Nah man, the accusations came out before the demand. "Philippines have best enhancing drugs.", "no man can be average then great later on in his career." That is all BS. For a man that does the same thing you do, that trains as hard as you do, bring someone down to raise your own status is a jealous ***** move.
why dont you give us a timeline as to what and when Mayweather made all these statements so we can see how soon he started stating these things
because other than that you are stating nothing but hot air.Comment

He demands it but not everyone has to do it. Floyd is trying to make it mandatory. In a court of law precedents have to be adhered to. In court if someone got of or got convicted because of a particular reason. The next person has to get of or convicted sighting the previous "precedent". Floyd aims to make this a standard so nobody can get off not doing an Olympic Style drug test, so he says. That is a precedent if Floyd ever succeeds in doing that based on paranoia and jealousy.Comment
