The mistake he made against Froch was to basically stand toe to toe with him. I thought he was winning the fight but couldn't quite keep it up towards the end and lost a close decision.
Obviously that speaks of his overall quality, but on the positive side, there aren't too many boxers that could go punch for punch with Froch like that. I think Pascal's best chance here is to turn it into a war. He's not outboxing Dawson, but if he forces Dawson to fight in the trenches then the experience he gained from fighting Froch and Diaconu should serve him well.
I don't expect him to be able to do that though. If Glen Johnson couldn't manage to break Dawson's rhythm, cut off the ring effectively or land too much of significance then I don't think Pascal can. Still, I think it'll be an entertaining fight as Pascal will give it his all and make Dawson work for it.

thsi is the problem with boxing, one or two bad fights and ppl dismiss a young fighter whos still learning.
against froch pascal got dragged into a war instead of being smart and use his boxing skills, by the looks of his last couple of fights he learned his lesson. and i acctually thought he beat froch aswell, and hes a had a couple of good performances since too.

However, I have seen him fight a few times and while he looks like he has the goods, I just don't get the impression that he's really a top level guy but maybe he can prove me wrong.
