But still Shane was still and is the real Welterweight champ and Manny and Roach didn't want any part of him so they opted to fight another guy who WON A VACANT TITLE at a catch weight who was also coming off a devastating loss and a fight he looked subpar in... And Manny skipped right past Casamayor for David Diaz... And now it looks like he'll finish his career fighting only Top Rank fighters

That is very weak. I don't know. Maybe Dlh, hat, and Cotto are bigger threats than Casamayor, don't you think. You would have a case if Pac retired after beating Diaz. Of the 7 weight titles he got, this is the only weight he is can be argued cherrypicking to a title ( only 1 fight here so cherrypicking is not even a good description here). The rest are number 1 and number 2 of the division.

At least Floyd expressed interest in fighting Mosley and Cotto at one time or another. I don't think Valero, Funeka, Alexander, Bradley, or Soto have come out of Pacquiao's mouth. He talked about figting Mosley but then went in another direction.

Floyd and Pacquiao have both been opportunistic with their opposition, but I honestly think Pacquiao has leaped over a **** load of challenges. Margarito and Cotto have already taken a lot of punishment from fighting each other and Shane Mosley, so Floyd fighting Mosley right now kind of redeems his credibility. I'm not a fan of Floyd or Pacquiao at this point either. Just calling it down the middle. You can't accuse one guy of being a cherry picker and then praise another one for being some kind of throw back accept all challenges warrior. It's being biased as hell.
