                      No, because if they were then the thesaurus would simply state something like

                      jog: run

                      as is the case with

                      smart: intelligent

                      but it doesn't. They clarify it with "for recreation" or "to run slowly." But apparently you think they are. So go and use them interchangeably if you want.
