Last week BoxingScene.com reported that the Steve Cunningham-Matt Godfrey cruiserweight championship fight would take place in Sunrise, Florida and that no television deal was in place. A reliable source has informed BoxingScene that Cunningham-Godfrey will now be on ESPN's Friday Night Fights on 3/26 and some of the 3/19 undercard may be going to that date as well. A venue has not been finalized for the 3/26 event.

Thank god for Espn. They been stepping up with their boxing schedule. I wish they were able to come to a agreement for the Klitschko-Chambers fight though. Atleast I can catch a stream for that fight.

THANK YOU ESPN! Cunningham has earned the coverage, and with his new trainer he can become a star! If the venue has yet to be set, it should be at Foxwoods in Conn. since Cunningham is from Philly and Godfrey is from R.I.
