it was a steroid but not an illegal one. u do know theres all kinds of steroids even in medications and nasal sprays asthma medicines even creams for ur skin has steroids in them that comes up in test. not every steroid is for mr olympia

or maybe it really was just somethin over the counter both had in their systems that set off the test

truth is nobody cares because his opponent was on it also and had twice as much as jones in his system

from what i recall, he was taking that over the counter stuff you could find at any GNC.
it was legal at the time.
