    Vitali Klitschko retiring?

Ukraine's Vitali Klitschko, WBC heavyweight champion, plans to retire in 2010, the Unian news agency reported on Wednesday.

"Ukraine's Vitali Klitschko, WBC heavyweight champion, plans to retire in 2010, the Unian news agency reported on Wednesday.

In 2009 Klitschko defended his WBC Heavyweight title three times. His next opponent could be former WBA champion Nikolai Valuev.

"I only have to win one belt. So this year I will hang up my boxing gloves. And I'll stop visiting different cities to beat somebody's face in," he said.

'Dr. Ironfist' Klitschko, 38 (39-2, 37 KOs) is a deputy of the Kiev City Council. Polls suggest he has a good chance of becoming mayor of the Ukrainian capital if elections are called this year."

I like Vitali. I will be sad to see him go. It's sad he ain't five years younger. He could have been the champ Wlad will never be. It's sad he lost so many good years because of injuries.

          Old news.

He said he will retire this years since last year.

He deserves it and will probbaly be the one to try to get the WBA title that is missing.

I wish it was Wladimir that's retiring and not Vitali.
