b/t he and his brother, lamont is the more skillful boxer (anthony's the more aggressive, heavier hitter), but we saw very few of those boxing skills becuz he became a stalker.
even getting blown out by bradley i'd still put lamont up with the top up n coming contenders in that division. i'd favor him over khan and maidana....maybe ortiz.
the only thing he really lacks is power, but he's a solid all-around fighter with heart.
i think he'll hold a belt at 140 some day. i think his chances diminish when he eventually moves up in weight though.
    You hit it dead on

If he would have waited a year or two to fight bradley i believe he would have won that fight...he will bounce back from the loss as if it never happened. Future champ no doubt about it.

I have to see it the second time around, I don't like to score the fight the first time around (drains some of the excitement). We saw the type of heart the kid has though, any other kid might have just quit after the mid rounds where he was pretty much helpless.

I agree to an extent but i think Peterson took some confidence out of that fight,he did not get blown out by any stretch of the imagination,i think his camp does need to match him better in the future though, you cant go from beating Willy Blaine to beating Timothy Bradley.

He would fight a different fight. Bradley had Peterson fighting a totally different fight than what he was used to. I don't think the aforementioned can deter Peterson from his style like Bradley did.

its not about being street tough. its about dealing with adversity.i dont think a loss is gonna stop him.

lamont's still got a bright future, hes just gotta stick with what brought him to this level and that's his boxing skills. he got so caught up in trying to gain respect from bradley in the earlier rounds that he abandoned his style.

he didnt show what he could do in that fight. he's got a quick long jab, tight defense and reflexes, great body puncher and quick accurate combos.
hes a very good all-around fighter, he just doesnt have power which is why i dont know why he wanted to stalk bradley and try to get him to brawl.

i thought he showed what he could do ,he was just outclassed Timothy tends to do that to fighters, kids still got room to grow though maybe a rematch 2 years down the line might be interesting.

nah, he definitely shouldve boxed more. the fight wouldve been completely different if lamont wouldnt have immediately went on the offensive.
but then again, who knew bradley could box circles like that?

Always thought Anthony was the better Peterson brother. but he doesnt seem to have made any waves at lightweight.
