    Precedence?

First of all, I want to state this is my first and last Pacquiao-Mayweather thread. I'm sure this thread might've been done before, but I just honestly want someone to explain the logic.

I'm looking for an honest explanation so keep that ******* vs ***** **** out of here.
    ---

Mayweather missing the 144 pound weight limit, and coming 2 pounds over against JMM is listed by some people as precedence to put in the 10 million dollar fine against Mayweather AND Pacquiao(To be honest it does apply to both, although there probably is a 1% chance Pacquiao shows up at 148 or something like that).

People list this as the "history" of Mayweather missing weight. Fair.

Okay, my issue is that no one mentions Pacquiao missing weight for an actual Title weight, that was governed by the actual weight(Read: Not a Catch weight fight). Pacquiao was draining himself, and this was a while ago, but it does take a lot more effort to miss an entire divisions weight limit as opposed to a catch weight, weight limit. Boxers all over the World can make their weight in their title bouts. Pacquiao being young was a problem, but definitely not an excuse.

Pacquiao's failure to make weight resulted in him losing his WBC flyweight title to Medgoen Singsurat when he was knocked out in the third round 10 years ago. He also had a difficult time making the 130-pound limit for his rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez in March of 2008, a fight in which some observers believe the split decision verdict in his favor could have just as easily gone to Marquez.
I'd appreciate so honest, unbiased answers. Thanks.
