It's easy to not be afraid of anybody when you know you'll keep getting rewarded for losing like he is against Pacquiao. Watch Clottey just show up for the pay check.

Is that what u think he did against Cotto? Clottey is coming to upset the apple cart, He will probably knock Pac out! He knows Arum won't let him win the decision and spoil the best laid plans.

I like Clottey but this is not gonna happen...He isn't strong enough to KO Pacquiao and style wise he cannot out point him either.

Pacquiao by UD or late stoppage.

those points of urs look mighty good. would you like to "WAGER" some of them on that Pac by knockout sinario? I just cant see Clottey being stopped unless he gets inured and cant continue. like if he broke both hands or somethin like that.

I think when people say what you did it comes off as hater-ish but it's simply a more matter-of-fact way of looking at things. Sure, Clottey might be hungry and look at this as his last chance but for a guy who was largely unknown when he fought Margarito three years ago, he's had quite a few last chances. And while he has teased, he hasn't been rise against the better opposition. On the contrary, he's come up small at the biggest moments. He had every reason to close the show with a convincing win, monster win over Cotto and took his foot off the gas--has anyone come up with a reason why yet? Not to mention the flopping. For a guy as "tough" as they come, he sure seemed...I don't know.

And that's without getting into his behavior against Baldomir and the uneven performance against Margarito. I too thought he would step to the plate against Cotto. I know a pattern when I see one. Clottey has shown that he knows how to lose but doesn't have it takes to win. He's already been slapped silly at the negotiating table. Can you blame some for expecting the same in the ring?

He isn't a great finisher but remember he broke his hand against Margs, he got bodyslammed by Cotto at MSG and lost a close decision with Pac sitting ringside with Arum telling him that he wants cotto. those aren't favorable situations. " no excuse is acceptable for Baldomir fiasco." I still thinks he beats Pac,because he won't fold no matter what. I just don't know how Pac handles a guy that he can't drop. I know he will try to ovrwhelm him wit speed like he did Oscar, but this time his man shouldn't be weight drained.

In spite of all this (what you wrote above), you still don't see the pattern. I sure hope you're right and that there isn't a new excuse on March 14.
