First off, Floyd & Manny are in my top 10 current fav fighters. So I guess you can call me a( FloTard).
But, I've notice that there are a lot of different types of Pac fans. I'll try to break it down and hope I don't come across like I'm biased.
1. The true boxing fan/Pac fan.
This person understands the sport, he appreciates it and has appreciated it. This person can see and will give props to skilled fighter not named Manny.
He may not like Floyds (TV) ****y, brash, arrogant, loud mouthed ways. But he understands that it is only an act, he's seen this before in the sport (its just entertainment).
He has a fav all time, but Manny is his current fav.
You see where I'm going with this guy (well rounded boxing/Pac fan) so I'll move on.
2. The Asian boxing/Manny fan.
He's pretty much the same as the first guy. He's Asian, proud to be Asian (nothing wrong with that).
But being proud to be Asian, he also understands that you can love your own and respect others.
But other than that he has the same respect and love for boxing as guy #1.
3. The "Strictly" Manny fan.
He knows and loves only Manny.
He has no respect for skills in other fighters.
He's driven by his passion for Manny, but has no clue what the sport is about outside of Manny.
He lashes out at anyone who is not a "Strictly" Manny fan.
To him, you can't like Floyd or you're a (*****)
If you think Floyd is good or skilled, you're a *****.
If you are a free thinker on this whole PED thing, you're a hater.
He has no middle ground, nor can he understand or separate fact from opinion.
Its all about Manny, end all be all.
The good thing about this type of fan is, when Manny retires he'll be gone.
Again I like both guys, I'm a Floyd fan before a Pac fan but I respect and enjoy them equal.
I will say, and I know I'll get a bunch of hate for this. I do not back Nanny and his team for not testing.
If you're a rational thinker you'll understand. They fouled that whole thing up for Manny.
I don't blame Manny, let's get that straight. I blame his team.
I have also come to the conclusion that Pac may be being fed an EPO without his knowledge. Manny seems honest, but he is way to trusting and surrounded by crooks.
Not saying he's dumb or ****** but he seems to be very naïve. He doesn't seem to speak for himself, he kinda parrots what Bobshyt says.
But in all, I know there are good Pac fans, then you have the mentally challenged ones. I will try to no longer debate on the Pac thing with those types.
I've heard those types say things like "I wish Floyd would have fought Margarito"
I know where that comes from, they want Floyd beat soo bad! They'd send a guy in with bricks to beat him. And that's just sad.
So to the real fans, I do respect you. Back your guy, enjoy the sport we love.
