I think every fighter tries to be somewhat like ali, and thats a good thing. But you have to have humor/humility to be that over the top, and people have to like you. People don't like floyd, except here.

No. Ali didn't deliberately try to be hated. He just did his thing and that's the response he got for it. His smack talk was 100% real. Floyd is just doing what he gotta do to keep his name hot. I wouldn't say he's biting off Ali, though obviously people will compare the 2.

The Mayweather-Marquez PPV did really good numbers.

I was kind of surprised that it broke a million. That's more than Mayweather-Hatton did in the states.

I do know that. To clarify, what I meant was even when Ali was mouthing off he believed the **** he was saying. He knew what he was doing getting a rise out outta people, but he didn't make **** up to do it. He went far out of his way to state his beliefs in outrageous fashion, but they truly were his beliefs. I don't think Floyd truly believes half the **** he says.
