i'd rather see pac fight mosley or pbf before margarito eventhough a margarito fight would still be tough for him, the other 2 fights (at this point in time) are a bit tougher...all you margarito bashers are funny...the guy never got convicted of anything (his trainer did), he does time anyway (1yr), has never ONCE fought w/ illegal wraps (but gets accused of fighting dirty since day 1), now he wants to prove he's legit and you're scared to see him fight your guys, the top guys...now THAT'S funny to me.

Manny is not a featherweight. The last time he fought at that weight was 2004! I guess then that Mayweather and Cotto are really Jr. Welterweights? That was their weight in '04. Roach said Manny moved up after fighting Diaz becasue he could no longer make 135 and that his best fighting weight is now 145. So how can a guy who walked into the ring weighing 149 for his only Lightweight fight and 146 for the second Marquez at Jr. Lightweight be considered a Featherweight? The "Manny is the smaller guy" excuse is getting old. He is the same size as Roberto Duran (half an inch shorter with an inch longer reach) and Roberto fought Marvin Hagler and three future Lightheavyweight champions (Hearns,Barkley and Leonard) without asking for special consideration because he was the "smaller guy".

Yes, Roy was ducking Lewis. If Lewis were undisputed at the time, Jones goes nowhere near the Heavyweights. Jones did what Pacquiao did against David Diaz. He beat the weakest and most vulnerable titlist and called himself a "champion" without fighting anyone of quality in that division, and did not even bother to defend the "championship".

Margarito is not rated not because he is not a good fighter but because he lost his license and wasn't able to have a fight. So you can't rank a fighter who doesn't fight. When Floyd "retired", he wasn't in the rankings too.

he was fighting him because there was nobody else to fight and ssm scheduled fight with berto didn't push thru. i hope you read the posts before berto pulled out of the fight because of the earthquake in haiti. can you remember the names they have mentioned as potential opponent for floyd? i believe it was paulie, m. hatton, nate campbell, cintron....
