Shane Mosley doesn't have the JAB to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr

Everyone knows that the most important punch in boxing is the jab. It sets up your big shots, backs chumps off of you and causes a lot of damage over time. In order to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr you need to have a stiff snappy jab... Something Shane just doesn't have. Some of you idiots who only watched the margarito fight will disagree but if you don't believe me youtube mosley vs cotto, winky wright and vernon forest. Shane is a one dimensional fighter. He always looks to throw the over the top right hand. That's his only weapon. His jab is a pitty pat jab that he never seems to land. Think about when people throw the little short jab in the first round that they really aren't trying to land, they actually are measuring... Well, shane throws that all night. This fight will be similar to Hopkins vs Trinidad. Everyone knows trinidad only had one hand and hopkins shut it down. Floyd will key in on that right hand and it will be an easy fight for Floyd. Floyds jab will prevent Mosley from doing that punch and grab BS while also making shanes big right hand fly wildly due to being hit while trying to punch. And by the way for all you idiots who think shane has a lot ot power. Actually he doesn't. You never see shane knock anyone out before round 7. Shane just wears you down over time as mayweather does. If you are still doubting that, youtube mosley vs wright 1 or 2 I'm not sure which. But winky wright dropped his hands as kimbo did in that street fight and ate shanes biggest shots, then shook his head telling him he is weak. (Then cruised to the win). This fight is going to be very lopsided. Don't get caught up in those lowsy flurries either...

You have some very good points.but you can't compare the toughness of winky wright to the toughness of Floyd(which has not been tested yet). Also if Floyd can be beat with a good jab, Means that his jab is not so great,that may be due to the fact that he is a natural counter puncher.I think it will be a tough bout for both fighters ,as both fighters can be beat with a good jab and neither controls a fight with the jab.this fight may come down to sheer will and even it his losses mosley's was never broken

This is what I keep on saying, Winky's Jab is with his right hand so it's enough to keep you honest, with Cotto he's a natural southpaw with an orthadox stance thus making his jab thunderous. Although Mayweathers jab is good it is not enough to keep Mosley off of him. And at this stage in Mosley's career he's going to be more willing to take a chance at Knocking Mayweather out or seriously hurting him. If Mayorga could keep Shane off him(and we all know he hits like a mad man) I don't think Mayweather can either so be prepared for a Marathon b/c Mosley is going to have to play cat n mouse
