Pryor may well be the most overrated fighter in the History of Boxing.
He was very talented, very tough, and an absolute joy to watch. But he is not in the same league as guys like Mayweather and Leonard. Both guys would have beaten him convincingly in my opinionComment

Vilamar fernandez outboxed and beat Alexis Arguello. Arguello had all kinds of problems with Fernandez and boxers in general because he was straight up and down. But he had great power and a very effective methodical style. Fernandez was no where near Mayweather's level. Ernesto Marcel outboxed and beat Arguello. Marcel was not on Mayweather's level. Pryor used boxing and movement at times in his fight with Arguello and made Alexis look bad when he used those skills. In terms of skill, Arguello could not match Mayweather. But it's a waste of time explaining that to you.Last edited by Calilloyd; 02-16-2010, 04:26 PM.Comment

Aaron Pryor would have gotten beat like a red headed step child. The UD would be more lopsided than Tara Reids breasts.
Floyd's defensive skills and mental stability would completely outmatch anything Pryor has to offer.Comment
