Actually defense does score points. Because that would mean a fighters aggression is not effective and you only get points for EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION. Not just plain old aggression.

scoring criterias for a professional fight

        - clean effective punching
        - ring generalship
        - effective aggression
        - defense

you do get points for dodging punches (pro not amateur), the only dumbass is you.

Pryor may well be the most overrated fighter in the History of Boxing.

He was very talented, very tough, and an absolute joy to watch. But he is not in the same league as guys like Mayweather and Leonard. Both guys would have beaten him convincingly in my opinion

If I had to bet on it I would pick Mayweather but it would have been a very competitive fight. Pryor was no scrub and one of the best ever at 140.

Vilamar fernandez outboxed and beat Alexis Arguello. Arguello had all kinds of problems with Fernandez and boxers in general because he was straight up and down. But he had great power and a very effective methodical style. Fernandez was no where near Mayweather's level. Ernesto Marcel outboxed and beat Arguello. Marcel was not on Mayweather's level. Pryor used boxing and movement at times in his fight with Arguello and made Alexis look bad when he used those skills. In terms of skill, Arguello could not match Mayweather. But it's a waste of time explaining that to you.

Aaron Pryor would have gotten beat like a red headed step child. The UD would be more lopsided than Tara Reids breasts.

Floyd's defensive skills and mental stability would completely outmatch anything Pryor has to offer.

I can think of plenty of fighters in history more overrated than Pryor. One is in your signature.
