Alright I can respect that. Young Floyd was my favorite too. I just have a few questions for you to answer. I'm not just picking you out, I ask these to everyone to test their logic in this situation.

1. If Mosley-Berto had been cancelled a month earlier and after the PEDs controversy, Pac had scheduled a March 13th fight with Mosley and Mayweather had scheduled a May 1st fight with Clottey, how would you react? Would you criticize Pac for fighting a past his prime Mosley or weould you criticize Floyd for fighting a guy who he'll box circles around? Be honest.

2. Margarito KO'ed Cotto, so wouldn't that make Pac-Cotto cherry picked according to your first post? Please answer this without bringing up handwraps because you didn't say that in the first post. All you said was "Margo is one dimensional".

3. Paul Williams is 6'4" with longer reach than V. Klitschko. Do you honestly expect any WW's, including Pac and Mosley to fight him? Mosley himself told Williams to move up and fight guys his own size and Pac wouldn't even fight Foreman. So why pick on Floyd? Keep in mind that Williams also never said he's coming back down to 147. He was only thinking of it.

4. Do you honestly see Clottey as a worthy opponent to Pacquiao? He's tailor made for him in my opinion. And do you honestly think he'd pose more of a threat than Mosley, who puches harder, is faster, more skilled, etc.?

5. Yes Mosley is past his prime, but do you really think anyone in the WW division can beat him right now besides Floyd and Pac? He'd KO Cotto in a rematch, and everyone else worth mentioning left the division.

6. If Floyd fought Williams, but Williams struggled to make 147 and got destroyed, what would you say about Floyd?

7. After answering the above questions, can you honestly look someone in the eye and say Mayweather made a bad choice by fighting Mosley and he should have fought someone else?

I believe Shane is not the fighter he once was, what 38 year old fighter that hasn't fought in a year is? Remember too, we are talking about a fighter that has been putting on the gloves for 30 years.
But he is coming off a good win in the Margarito beatdown. It was just a year or two ago when he lost that fight with Cotto people were talking about his better days and how good he was in his prime. Well he didn't get any younger. Still as an old man(boxing wise) he is still a name opponent but a safer fight than 6 years ago.
