Although pac has won titles in more weight classes Chavez fought when there were only two titles; The WBC and WBA. Chavez has also had by far one of the most if not the most dominating reigns in boxing history.

chavez was probably a greater fighter than pac is (as of now), but u gotta know pac would beat him down if they fought eachother (prime for prime ofcourse). styles make fights, chavez is tailor made for pac. it takes a boxer to beat pac, simple as that. pacquiao beats him theres no doubt about, possibly knocks him out.

gotta agree with u. Pac moves in and out and has incredible handspeed much like Taylor. Unfortunately for Chavez, Pac gets stronger as the fight goes on so it is safe to say that he would not suffer the same fate as with Taylor.

Pac looks a little Duranish in that picture.

Pac gets stronger as the fight goes on because of that delicious EPO.

wow what a fight these 2 guys would have had prime vs prime. as for who ranks higher, i think pacman has passed up chavez already. pacman vs chavez at 140 or 135 would be a barnburner! 2 bonafide legends indeed.

Funny but not practical. This is one dream fight that could have had a couple of intersting outcomes. If they fought in their prime, Pac would have taken the Meldrick route but have avoided the fate Taylor suffered. Don't forget how Frankie Randall defeated Julio. Chavez could never solve speed and he cut badly. These textures would have been ideal for Manny if they had faced off at 147.
