I always thought this fight was a lose-lose for Pacquiao. His workrate is good enough to to get a decision, but it want look good and it wont be easy & If Clottey does anything close to getting 4-5 rounds of the fight then he'll claim he was robbed again and still get a big payday and a great intro to the average boxing fan.

& i do think their's just as good a chance for Clottey to get the win as there is for Mosley against Mayweather.

Lissten.. Clottey is good, but not great. He's got a litle bit of everything but not enough of one thing. His chin is good, but a jab did knock him down. Balance or not. He's got solid defense, but he can get hit.

He might be STRONGER than Manny, but he doesn't have a bigger punch. He isn't as fast. He's far less mobile and he ca focus on defense way too much.

I don't think he wins. At all.....

yeah..I agree..Cotto was even smashed by this Clottey. Fortunately for Cotto, Clottey showed some mercy. everytime Cotto steps his competition he gets smashed. Good for him, he is fighting Yuri. Yuri might eveb stopped him. Poor Cotto. and for the topic, Clottey will give Pac a much tougher fight than Quitto did.

He will be there all the way, and will put up a competitive fight and do more damage than Pacquiaos last opponent. He will also use his technical skills that Pacquiaos last two opponents did not have, and will alsoput up a more entertaining and more competitive fight.

Clottey has little to no chance.

Unless your name is Floyd Mayweather, or you have serious power, you are not beating Pacquiao by throwing 40 to 50 punches a round....30 by late in the fight.

Clottey has the skills and strength, but it will look similar to the Cotto fight. It will be competitive for the first half, and than Pac will run away with it, potentially stopping him.

I dont know, Clottey's stamina does not lend for him to be there all the way until the end. My guess is that he will be competitive early on especially with crisp right hand counters but once the firepower comes back at him he wil stay in his shell more than attack

and while yes Manny dominated Cotto it's not like he didn't take any damage himself otherwise he wouldn't have had a busted eardrim and swelling around his eyes

Clottey isn't as damaging a puncher as Cotto but his punches look more impressive because of the snap he has in them

I believe Cotto won the fight against Clottey but i will say this again, Clottey gave it away. He could have stopped Cotto but he decided to gamble on the scorecards. If they make a rematch, I would favor Clottey by KO. and for Clottey-Pac, it will be much more competitive than Pac-Cotto.

Yeah, he was smashed by a headbutt. Clottey is known for this. Clottey didn't "show him any mercy"...where did that bs come from...lol. Oh, i see..."for the topic"...you're a Cotto hater too...lol. I don't care about either of them. I also don't give a lick about Cotto, people need to stop thinking fighters that are better than him have to cheat to beat him. Call me whatever you want, his styleis strange, and when the going gets tough he runs or quits. I don't like that.
