Why dont Povetkin and Chagaev just fight?

    Why dont Povetkin and Chagaev just fight?

    solves 2 birds with one stone, nobody wants to see Chagaev vs Meehan and Povetkin vs Guinn.

    I know there are sanctioning body issues, but jesus, the H/W division is a convoluted joke, and these two fights are not going to make it any better.

    I thought Ruslan had some blood disorder or something. That would be a good scrap and it would be a good measuring stick fo Povetkin. At the same time maybe they are worried about a cut delaying his second opportunity at Klitchoko since he was originally the madatory but had to withdraw due to injury.

      TBH its a ****** thread, it'd never happen, but the fight does make sense, it would be a fairly interesting fight, and the winner gets a title shot.
