Pac is going no where, I like how boxers alway say i would retire at 27 but even after all the money in the world they alway find it difficult to retire,We need Pac and all the top boxers we could have right now in the sport.

pac will be 32 this year.

      i think it's time.

remember he's a slugger. they don't have a long shelf life like boxer/mover types.

plus he's been fighting for like 16 years.

manny is the very definition of a throwback fighter. if this was the 30s,40s, & 50s, fighters like pacman, bernard & shane mosley would do very well. they are very durable, strong, 15 round fighters capable of having a great career with 100 plus fights. fighters like roy jones, klitskcho brothers, & floyd could never sustain a great career in the old school era of boxing. in klitsckho's case they get injured too much, in roy's case he relies too heavlity on his athleticism, & in floyd's case his reluctance to engage & his somewhat brittle hands wont make last long unless he retires early & never fights.

Pac really wants to get into politics. But to be honest, I don't think filipinos in the PI will vote him in while he's still boxing. He knows this, which is why he said 1 or 2 more fights then retire.

I just hope the winner of pbf shane gets a fiht with pac

I cant see him fighting much longer as well. Hes done it all so there is no reason to outstay his welcome.

If he cant get Floyd, he might just fight SSM, depending on what happens between SSM and PBF. If PBF makes really hard work of beating SSM, if he beats him that is. Pac might just take the SSM fight to prove he can beat SSM better than PBF could.
That is if Pac beats Clottey of course. But i really dont think Pac needs PBF. I just watched PBF vs DLH and PBF just doesnt cut it. When PBF wins he is boring. So even if PBF beat Pac, it would be a fight that wont last in the memory.

Not true. Public pressure kept Pac to stay this long. For Pac, it is not the fight itself that is hard, it is the training. Hiring dangerous boxers to beat you is no laughing matter. Amir Khan was hired to pretend to be DLH, for example. You could imagine the beating in training alone.

You would never know how it feel to retire until you retire, Boxers are competitive minded and they never lose that even when they're alot older, They miss it when its gone and thats why alot of them comeback even when they didnt need the money.

He might take sometime out and see how it feels to be away from it but am sure he isnt retiring and am sure he would fight another 3 fights guaranteed.

                      This has been mentioned before.

                      His retirement is near.

I say good for him, he's accomplished a lot.
