very quick question, when Floyd agreed to the $10 million for every pound clause.....

When Floyd agreed to pay Pacquiao $10million for every pound hes over 147, was that on fight night or at the weigh in?

I think Floyd had to weigh in at 147 on fight night. Am i wrong?

    It was for the weigh-in.

This was a tactic by Pacquiao to get out of the Mayweather fight and make Floyd look scared. Unfortunately it backfired and Floyd accepted.

In the end after Roach claimed that Pacquiao "would take any test", he rejected a 14 DAY CUT OFF DATE for blood tests, killed the fight, and signed practically the next day to fight Clottey.

Yeah but for a welterweight fight Floyd would have had to come in at 147 or the belt wouldnt have been on the line. You sure it wasnt on fight night?

For a welterweight fight, the fighter has to weigh in at 147 at the weigh in, the night before the fight.

Tactic? more like an insurance policy in case he pulls a stunt like the one vs Marquez.

The fight was at WW for a belt so i dont think they really need a penalty like that for 10 Million dollars unless they didnt really want the fight, In Mayweather previous fight he came in under 147 in a non-title fight which also was a catchweight fight. Like someone else said earlier the actions of Team Pacquiao says they didnt want the fight for March because they need more time to get themselves ready for Mayweather, No shame in it to be fair.

Mayweather never rehydrates after the weigh-in more the i would say about 5 pounds anyways, He came in at 150 for his fight against DLH at lmw.
