For those of you who watched Pinoy Power 3/Latin Fury, when Penalosa - Morel came on. Guess who was working on the big cuts Gerry received from accidental headbutts, Ariza was !!
He was actually already playing a part-time role in being a cutman in PAC's corner in his last fight against Cotto.
Anyway, back to last Saturday, Ariza did a terrible job on those cuts, albeit, those were two nasty cuts Penalosa suffered. But, I've seen those kind of cuts a good number of times, the ones I remember vividly were the cuts PAC suffered in his first fight against Erika and the other in his rematch against Juanita, the cutmen he used for those fights did a good job overall. Juanita's coach, Beristain also did a great job on his fighter's cut in the same fight.
Last Saturday, Ariza didn't even looked like he was using a coagulant, not even f**kin' vaseline, he was just wipin' it off and putting pressure on it, with what looked liked baby wipes, I'm serious.
Another dumb mistake Ariza made was using a f**kin' icebag and not an endswell on Penalosa's swollen left eye.
Geez, I hope to God that Ariza isn't the cutman for March 13th. This **** reminded me of when Tyson lost to Douglas, how f**ked up his corner was.
