I think as of now that Gamboa will beat JuanMa when/if they fight but Mtagwa was getting beat for 10 rounds until JuanMa just got ****** and made a mistake....it was clear who was the better fighter and he should have fought Caba and maybe will sometime.

Still, moving up in weight and in your 1st fight stopping a defending champion who has never been stopped before is not too bad.

Besides who knows if Gamboa will get past Caba anyway, his best opponent to date is Mtagwa.

Wtf are you talking about, Mtagwa was one of Yuri's worst opponent... Mtagwa is a bum who is not supposed to get any title shots, Gamboa destroyed him the way he did because he is nothing else than a bum. He was impressive against Juanma not because he was good, but because Juanma really sucks now.

Gamboa himself said he didn't want to fight Mtagwa because he was a low quality fighter that he was going to KO early, useless for his career.. That's exactly what happened. Bob Arum insisted and he had to take him.
