Only difference is that Prime Tyson was a combination pucher, wich Holyfield always has been. this could be the difference, in their two fights Tyson didnt fire off half the combinations he would have 6-7 years earlier. and no, Holyfield wasnt prime either, but he was closer to his prime than Mike was imo.

im still very uncertain of who wins though..

holyfield was no where near his prime in tyson fight ive heard this crap so much from my mates that are casual tyson fans am a holyfield hardcore fan and seem to be the only one from my area never met another one in person anyway and am 28.holyfield bowe 1 is prime heavyweight evander even in the bowe rematch i thought holyfield was slightly out of prime and as soon has the hair went he was total out of prime the bounce wasnt the same to an extent his movement was slower and his combo punching was also very rare, think how he used to put combos together with such speed against cooper and foreman.

Vander is not intimidated by anyone and has Adamantium chin. That spells disaster for Tyson.

Prime Holyfield beats all versions of Mike Tyson

Ive got to go with Tyson, with Rooney in his corner. Tysons bodywork would of broke Evander down I can still see the fight going the distance with Tyson winning on points.

all that tyson is mentally weak talk is a load of bs imo.

maybe he was outside the ring personally but he rarely showed it in the ring.
I thought it was obvious, whenever a fighter has stood up to him and taken his best, Tyson gets discouraged. Every time. Even early against the bums whenever one of those bums was able to take the early punishment Tyson slowed down and let himself get clinched and discouraged, he didn't stay at the early round level he always had.

Holyfield would NOT get KOed early, and would beat Tyson's ass more and more as the fight went on.

If you recall when the Tyson fight fell through with Mike going to prison Evander fought Bert Copper instead, and I can see Mike beating that version of Evander. Evander does have an iron chin but he cant take body shots

                  hey

remember when Tyson faught Holyfield, he had been 3 years in prison. Alot of people seems to forget that. Tyson faught McNeely, Buster Mathis and Bruono before taking on Holyfield. Tyson hadnt been hit since he faught Razor Ruddock 4 years prior to that. In hes prime i dont think Tyson would only throw 1 punch like he did almost their entire 1 fight.

Tyson diddnt Quit against tough opponents. He even gave the hard hitting Ruddock a rematch an won 9 rounds and knocked down razor twice.

I belive Tyson would have won, maybe on points. Holyfielda great fighterm byt he had hes moments in almost every fight were he seems to be a bit "off".

Tyson wins...... In his prime.... he was probably and possibly could have been the greatest heavyweight we have seen....

That may be a bold statement... but imagine, if he was doing what he did at the age of 20 and stayed as hard working as he was...what he would have been like at 28.....

                      Its scary to think about
