How hard was it to get a true 115 lber to fight Donaire?

I love Donaire. The drama and excitement he brings everytime he fights. His style and his flaws. He can box, he's got power, he makes mistakes and gets tagged and therefore makes him very exciting to watch. Even if he has a habit of admiring his work occassionally, you must admit that some of his knockouts border on spectacular.

But couldn't Arum get a true 115 lber to fight Nonito last night? He is making Donaire look really bad by fighting B class fighters, prospects and lower weight class fighters.

I'll up the ante and say that I think Montiel vs Nonito could have been made last night. I'm sure Bob could afford to pay Ciso Morales step aside money. I mean how much do you think Morales made last night - $ 13 - 15K? That would have been peanuts just to set up Montiel vs Donaire.

Arum has to make the Donaire/Darch rematch and soon or risk losing the lustre from one of his better fighters.

Last night's matchup was embarassing to watch.
