No idea. I want him to fight Funeka, because legacy-wise, that would show where he is at at Lightweight. I think he should clean out the Lightweight division before moving up to Jnr Welterweight, but he doesn't seem to want to do that. Unfortunately, a lot of so-called fans seem to have forgotten that boxing is a sport, not just a business, not just entertainment; and in a sport you have to prove you're the best by beating the best. Which means you should prove you're the best in your own division before fighting in another division. And he hasn't beaten any really credible Lightweights yet, certainly no one close to Funeka.

Valero-Marquez would be another great fight, but it doesn't seem to be on the table, unfortunately.

But for Valero to call out Bradley and then for his promoter to make lame ass excuses for not making the fight is just pathetic. Valero should stand up to Arum and tell him to stop making him look bad.

I want to see Valero fight Funeka too and I think Valero would beat him. But in a lot of ways, it's up to Shaw to push that fight instead of just focusing on a Bradley-Valero fight since he promotes Funeka. And JMM doesn't want anything to do with Valero. Another thing is Oscar and Arum hate each other right now.

Thats not 100% accurate. The Ortiz fight has been "agreed to", but it wont actually be "signed" until they sort out the Khan situation.

Why is that? One of these 2 might fight Khan?

Thats complete bull**** about Richard Schaefer deying GBP wanted to use JMM as a stepping stone for Khan. Talking all that BS about how they were just trying to get JMM an opportunity to win a title in his 4th division. My ass, we all know who they wanted to win. In the media Richard was basically saying how they want Khan to shine in his US debut. I am sure they would want a 36 year old fading super featherweight to knock off their recently signed Brittish star off the deepest division in boxing in a time whre questions still lurke about Khan and his KO loss in 1 round. If Khan vs Campbell were to get made, it would be the same **** but I would love to see Campbell whoop his ass.

How can a fighter at JMM's level be considered a "stepping stone"? He can either beat Khan, or he cant. Should GBP be "protecting" JMM, or trying to get him the biggest fight available? Which is it? Hatton isnt available, so the next biggest fight available right now for JMM is Khan. So why wouldnt GBP offer it? If he dont want it, then he can sit, and they'll put someone else in with Khan.

People need to stop acting like JMM is a prospect or something, and needs to be protected.

Besides, if they fought, my money would be on JMM catching Khan at some point in the fight with that inside uppercut and putting Khan's lights out.

Manny Pacquiao is walking around 150lbs but that did not stop him from fighting at WW

It just show that Eric Morales has more heart than JMM who is facing a champion going up the WW division. JMM was banking on the fact that PBF was inactive for 2yrs and thought he had a chance but was out smarted by PBF by coming in 2lbs over the limit.

JMM is a great fighter, Khans name cant even touch JMM's name. But JMM's best weight was at 126. Every one was saying how he looked out of his element at 135 and got by on his skills, determination, and ring IQ.

Picture this, JMM-Khan goes to the cards in a close/competitive bout that showed Marquez is the better fighter, who do you think GBP want's to get the decision?
