So why don't more entertaining fighters draw more than Floyd?

Well Floyd has done better numbers,but come may 1st about 15 minutes after Mosley walks the dogs on Floyd,the Public will demand that Mosley fights Pacman,if he beats Clottey!!Fight fans need to realize 1 thing though,Floyd & Pacman winning are not forgone conclusions!!Clottey,but especially Mosley are too live & shouldn't be thought of as guaranteed wins!!Out of these 4 fighters,Mosley has the most impressive & best resume at 147,that's gonna show up come May!!

Floyd fought Oscar and it was billed as the biggest fight on earth at the time. The fight to save boxing.

Ask the casual fans if they want a refund for it? Damn right.

Pac made the Oscar fight exciting, and his name is up there. If Pacquaio was American, he would sell a lot more.

The Hatton fight, well Hatton was hyped up a lot in 24/7 and was undefeated. This fight made Pac a bigger star and now I can see him doing a minimum of 500k.

Both good fights for Floyd and Pac though. Pac's KO was mroe WOW while Floyd's was classy and funny.

JMM was not a star and Pac was not a star outside of boxing when they fought.

Floyd has always been a star of boxing. Pac now is. Before Oscar, how many casual sports fans knew him?

Also add the fact that it was played out on mexican independance day and that Floyd fights have been marketed much better than Pac's. They spend much more money on it. GBP put in the bills before while Arum is tight. Heck look at Pac VS Clottey.

I think all the A side stars that have hit 1 mill have been American.

Oscar, Tyson, Floyd etc...

If you go on numbers, then look depper into it. Number are there, but the reason behind it need better thinking, or perhaps humans would only commuincate by saying 1, 2 5, 10, 8, 1, 2 as opposed to use their brains.

Proof: Look how popular that radio segment of RA telling Floyd off was on this site for a good week and a half after it happened and that was just a phone conversation. You could have a televised beatdown of Floyd getting jumped with baseball bats and pipes by some street thugs and sell it for 69.95 as a PPV event and that **** would sell like nobody's business......come on, Floyd has far more haters than fans now days.

fight should be 50/50, true floyd did better numbers, but pac is p4p #1 so that comes into play as well,

imho after pac/clottey and floyd/mosley then pac should fight mosley and floyd fight clottey, then the winners fight each other.

Floyd did better PPV numbers with these opponents then Manny did. That's hard evidence. Therefore it's only fair to Floyd to get a bigger slice of the cake. Although Mayweather Jr-Mosley will most likely out sell Pacquiao-Clottey, these fights are not relevant. In fact, I was surprised Floyd accepted 50-50 in the first place.

Pac-Cotto should be the standard, not pac-clottey.
