ok. I could not find the other thread someone made a long time ago about this fight. I have not heard it discussed much, I dont know why...considering it is a very interesting matchup. Reid is a hard hitter yes, and has never been knocked out and has a very good chin. He is succeptable to uppercutts on the inside however. People have underestimated Lacy's tenacity in the ring, and his ability to stop a tank with his punches. Syd Vanderpool was arguably one of the hardest fighters in the sport to simply stop, and Lacy did just that.
Reid should box from the outside, and hope he can potshot Lacy with the right hand. I dont see it happening, and I actually see Jeff administering him his first loss by way of knockout. What are your thoughts on this matchup?
