Typical Ronnie bulls--t saying Vargas fights from mini-weight to junior flyweight. Ever the Pinoy cheerleader, Ronnie is trying to make this go down easier. Vargas fought four months ago for the WBO minimumweight title and has fought credibly all the way up to flyweight.
It was a travesty that, even on short notice, they allowed a super flyweight champion, considered to be one of the best lower-weight fighters in the world, "defend" a title against a guy so much smaller who jumped three weight divisions from his last fight. Which also was a loss, but the way. Ronnie is just trying to cover up the strench, as usual

I have to agree that the main event was bull****,, but you could have given VARGAS all the time he wants to prepare for this fight and the outcome would still be the same...I already knew when VARGAS walked in the ring that this fight won't last long....Donaire just wanted the fans to get a little bit of a show, plus work on his craft...That fight was like sparring practice....TIME TO PUT THE BIG NAMES AGAINST DONAIRE...NO MORE TUNE UP BULL****S....

i agree, even if vargas trained properly for this fight,he loses, after all donaire is a big 115 pounder, and vargas in his last fight weighed 105,before that he weighed 103,102....in other words MISMATCH...donaire should be embarrased for such a fight, these fights shouldn't be allowed, donaire looked big next to vargas
