This fight always made me think mainly cause both Marquez and Morales were damn near unstoppable at 126, I know if Marquez kept calm and collective and frustrated Morales enough to make him trade Marquez would win by countering Morales, but the thing was, Morales wasn't ******, if he noticed Marquez waiting for him, Morales would box him and trade when Marquez came forward, extremely difficult fight for me to pick a winner since both Marquez and Morales are my favorite fighters, but I think Morales edges a VERY close decision.

The truth of the matter is that JMM should only have 1 loss on his record right now.

      Thats it.

just watch Pac-Morales 2. no way JMM beats a version of Morales that night and to think Morales got TKO that night. Prime Morales>JMM.

Weight drained Morales?.....Marquez stops him late, just like Manny did, if it was prime vs prime at 126...I'm leaning towards Morales by a little bit, but a Marquez victory is never out of the question.

Erik is my favourite fighter of all time - but JMM was really quite something at 126. He had great speed back then too. I don't think either fighter dominates, but Erik would be more troubled by JMM's style than vice-versa.

            Very, very close fight.
