Who's the better fighter? Caballero or Concepcion?

I don't really know who is to be honest, but isn't Caballero-Lopez still a bigger fight given the fact that Caballero has talked mad **** about Juan Ma? Isn't it more money for Arum to have it like Caballero-Lopez and Concepcion-Gamboa instead of the other way around? And don't the hardcore Juan Ma fans want Lopez to shut Caballero's mouth?

Now, I think that Concepcion is a better challenge than Luevano for Juan Ma even though Abe got a DQ loss on his record to Luevano because Lopez like Cotto is at his most vulnerable stage against pressure fighters as we saw against Mtwaga. So I actually give Lopez some credit for fighting Concepcion. But it's not a fight that I think would happen if they were both promoted by different companies. But the overall point of my thread is that it seems like Concepcion should fight Gamboa while Caballero gets the shot at Lopez that he's been clamoring for. And even if you Juan Ma fans think Caballero is a bum, don't you want Lopez to beat him instead of Gamboa?

Anyone that thinks Concepcion is a tougher fight than Caballero gets a face palm from me so hard I'd give myself a black eye.

Caballero is definitely more proven regardless. But Concepcion took his resume in the right direction last night.

I haven't seen Caballero in so long I forgot how he fights.

Arum doesn't seem like he'll ever make that fight. Maybe when Caba turns 40.

          Maybe then.

I just really, really think that Caballero is garbage. Nothing about his game impresses me.

Not garbage, he's a champion. But I really don't think he's elite and would probably get stopped by any of the top guys at 126. And the fact that he's a top 10 P4P fighter on some lists is a cruel joke.

              I don't think he's a top ten P4P fighter either.

You know what though? That guy's been champ at 22 for a long time and has been calling out Lopez forever.

Its like the *****'s Margarito argument. "Oh he sucks, nobody knew him, he was easy work"...

                Yet Floyd never fought him.

If he sucks that bad, Lopez should fight him, shut him up, take his belt and his scalp.

Instead he left for another division before hardly accomplishing anything at 22.

Ponce De Leon? That was it.

ok the thing that bothers me here is that if caballero was willing to fight lopez for free before why did he price himself out of the negotiation. He was willing to pay for the belts fees and winner takes all. But arum offered him a fight and he turned down. Does that make any sense?. I don't care who juanma fights. He doesn't pay me so for all I care he could fight whoever he wants.

Where did I say that me thinking he's garbage is an excuse for Lopez not fighting him?

The thread was asking what we thought of the two and I gave my opinion on Caballero.
