And there's a reason why that happens. You stack the card with a certain country then you will alienate others. I've hosted so many boxing cards and the first complaint is, "boxing is just a mexican thing". You need to mix these cards up so Americans watching can look forward to one of their own. There's a reason we rarely see white Americans box, other than they aren't good. Kids of that color don't have anyone to look up to and say "wow, I can be like that guy". Mix the cards up, please.

Exactly right, CHICKEN FLOYD is never the draw, the mexican undercards are the ones that will help sell this fight. I urge everyone that hates CHICKEN FLOYD like I do to not buy this fight and wait to see it for free on HBO. If this fight does well, it's because of the mexican undercard, and SHANE MOSLEY not CHICKEN FLOYD.Comment

firstly latinos are responsible for buying most of the boxing ppvs regardless if the fighters involved are latinos or not.secondly, theres simply more mexican or mexican -american or latino champs than anyone else, then its europeans, and asians, american fighters are at an all time low as far as active good fighters, as there are much easier jobs nowadays, in the 50s white fighters dominated, america needs far more fighters were down to mosley and mayweather ,pavlik hopkins and very few others. the passion is simply waned or something.its not favoritism or racism or any other typ of ism its a numbers thing.plus it also helps that latino boxers usually bring the war on.Comment

Heīs not half Mexican, he just has some Mexican influence in his style due to the fact that he has sparred/trained with Mexicans/ Latinos because he is from L.A. and southern California has a huge Mexican-American population. In New York city itīs the oppposite. Puerto Ricans have been influenced by African Americans in their boxing style.Comment
