True but Shane is a dumb fighter so he needs a great trainer. I wouldnt be shocked if he had lost to Margarito with his dad in the corner but I think he wouldve beaten Cotto with ****m so that does changes things alot going into this fight. Smarts on smarts in the ring, Floyd kills Shane and thats why he would easily win but having Naz in the other corner closes that gap alot. I suspect though when Shane starts losing then he will revert back to his old ways and the Floyd will light his ass up
Will Shane Mosley "SHOCK" us all again??!!

If he were to beat Floyd, I would be somewhat surprised. His skills are still pretty good, but I just don't see him being able to beat Floyd personally. Everyone was up in arms when he beat Margo, but Margo was the PERFECT match-up for Mosley in terms of styles. I was one of the few to pick Mosley to beat Margarito, but I admit I didn't think it was going to be by knockout. Like it's been said already, theres no doubt he has to ability to knock Mayweather out, but I don't see him being able to land enough clean punches to do so.Comment

I disagree, ****m Richardson is a great trainer and entertaining but his impact on fights has been overrated. "Swim without getting Wet" is creative wordplay but i'm not sure how that gives you any specific intructions on what to do in the ring. Mosley was the same old Mosley in there against Margarito and Cotto, just two different opponents, one a stationary target, the other a bit of a mover.True but Shane is a dumb fighter so he needs a great trainer. And Mosley isn't really dumb, he probably already knows Floyd real good on his own.Comment

It would shock me if Mosely won.
But I think It probably be one sided for Mayweather. If Mayweather made Marquez look pretty bad even though Marquez was not in his weight but still it a very one sided that nobody expected that.Comment

I might shouldnt have said dumb because I do have way more respect for him than that but it is widely known that he has shown no ability to adjust in the ring. In all those losses, he did the same exact thing in the 9-12 that he was doing from 1-4 even though the **** clearly wasnt working. He never switched up one bit while you see Floyd changes his style from fight to fight or during the fight. The Naz stuff can be debated but I think he is the real deal, even when he was working with Hopkins. Just the way he speaks in regular interviews and the fact that he finds the **** with the gloves is top notch to me. I also think you underrate what he said to Mosley. 1st off I think its not just about during the fight but in the camp. I think he obviously came up with a good game plan. Then when he said the swim stuff, alot of people just took it as hype but I think he was being serious and telling Shane to punch & get out or punch & hold so he cant come back with anything.I disagree, ****m Richardson is a great trainer and entertaining but his impact on fights has been overrated. He just says it in his way. I thought alot of the stuff he said in the corner was pretty spot on and I also think that unlike most other trainers, alot of the stuff he deals with is on the mental side and not in the X's & O's. I saw him say stuff about that in that fight and already about Floyd he is saying that the biggest thing is trying to convince Floyd that he can lose because its hard to convince a guy like Floyd that after him being undefeated all these years and that may be more important than any of the startegy ****. You could be right though but I think he's pretty legit. My other boy Kevin Cunningham talks **** in the corner but I think he may be the most underrated trainer out there and all his guys know how to fight with good skillComment

I was not that impressed with Mayweather against Marquez. I think judges have a tendency to favor Floyd and that is his best chance I think. I think it is sort of like the way Barry Bonds and the strike zone used to be. If he took the pitch, even if it was right down the middle, the umpires would call it a ball, because he had established enough credibility.
I doubt Floyd will do Mosley any real damage. Floyd will be evasive and maybe do it cleverly enough that he will make the judges believe he won. Mosley will throw more punches I think. But if it is close, the judges might not remove the 0 even if most people think Mosley won.Comment

Why dont you try watching the JMM again right now or some time soon? I say that because Ive talked to alot of people who have said they werent impressed but then they rewatch it and get more & more impressed each time. I think some were expecting him to be super aggressive and go for the KO against the smaller man so it clouds there judgement on the fight. Thats why when they take out that expectation and watch it back, they feel different and think that it was a great boxing display that he put on. Maybe you wont feel that way thoughI was not that impressed with Mayweather against Marquez. I think judges have a tendency to favor Floyd and that is his best chance I think.
