    he surely deserves it

castillo shares something in common with glen johnson- they are both very good fighters, and up to recently, were highly underrated.

after that last fight with corrales, I gotta say I have lots of respect for him. more than most other fighters. he's up there with george foreman in my book.

If I were him, I'd get a contract written up so he gets royalties for any station to replay that match. Hollywood could not have written a better script.

He was only underrated by people who know nothing about boxing. He's always been a top-notch fighter in my book, and I love the guy's willingness to brawl with anybody. Anybody who actually knows a damned thing about the sport has to have very high regards for Castillo. It wasn't until the last couple of years that I've really liked Corrales, actually. Goosen really turned the guy around, and his dedication to training, the sport itself, and his own sense of discipline have grown by leaps and bounds because of it. Without Goosen, Corrales would still be just another brawler, and I wouldn't have given him even a small chance against Castillo. Because of Goosen's influence, Corrales was my pick last Saturday.
