Paulie has a chance to earn even more respect. Khan is becoming a star without the big fights. Maidana has both power and heart, and for those who think he lacks skill, he knows how to finish fights. so for either Khan or Paulie to shrug Maidana off to fight eachother says nothing to me about how either of these guys expect to deal with a fighter like Maidana who's not only strong-willed but capable of knocking someone out. sounds like both men are taking the easier route.Comment

The funny thing is, that's actually true. Maidana has poor boxing skills. My only problem with Paulie is his punch resistence. Yes he has a good chin, but just imagine if Diaz was a harder puncher...It would have been the Hatton fight all over again. If he can use his footwork as an advantage and work on his defense then I can see him beating Khan. It would be like a poor man's Mayweather-Pacquiao. Paulie has the experience and skills, but Khan has the power and combinations.Comment

Former junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi does not agree with people who say WBA champion Amir Khan is taking less of a risk by targeting a fight with him instead of making his mandatory defense against Marcos Maidana. Malignaggi, during an appearance on the Stand-N-Fight internet radio show, said Maidana is a dangerous puncher but he doesn't know how to fight. Malignaggi thinks Maidana is an easier fight and picked Khan to beat him. [Click Here To Read More]Comment
