boring? he's got fast, active hands with good power in both hands. he also happens to have great technique and boxing instincts.

not very fast? look at his hand speed. as for his foot speed, he's a light heavy you're not gonna see PBF like footwork/speed up there.

I see no killer instinct and i see no fire... I mean he is technically sound but the slow pace and the lack of a real killer instinct will cost him at the highest level. Even Floyd who people accuse of being defense first, when he was young in his natural weight knew how to finish fights. Nothing against the kid, just not my type of fighter. Wlad gets away with it because his jab weighs a ton, not this guy though.

Most Russian fighters are exciting to watch, a good example was last night on ESPN. Boytsov, Povetkin, Lomachenko and Korobov have crowd-pleasing styles.

A little early to tell, but it looks like he has a pretty good jab, decent footwork and head movement. Yeah he could've gotten that guy out of there sooner, but at this point, he should be trying to log rounds, though I guess he has gotten half his guys out of there in the first.

slow pace? what is this based on?
he fights at a good pace, especially for a light heavy. he fights on his front foot, stalks his opponent and breaks em down with accuracy and precision.
no, he doesnt chase his man down like a wild man, nor should he. he is a boxer.

the kid isnt like wlad at all. he's not content with just flicking the jab and waiting for openings. he creates openings. he can counter with right or lead with it. he can counter with the hook or lead with it. hes got a devastating left hook to the body and isnt afraid to go downstairs. he also has a disgusting right uppercut. the kid has just about every punch in the book.
maybe you need to watch more footage.

killer instinct? hes only had 11 fights, 10 of those won by KOs and he's scored a KD or KO in every single fight he's been in.
obviously he knows what hes doing even though he aint balls to the wall.

this kid has shot up my list of prospects.
