i think with any sport, its really about self control. I remember my first varsity basketball game as a sophmore in highschool. i was so nervous that I forgot our offense and everything was going so fast. it felt like I forgot how to dribble and I couldnt gage my shot at all, but once I relaxed and composed myself, just took everything in, I was breakin the dude who was gaurding off dropping dimes and hitting 3's.

Tu eres de alla? Diablo loco the guy was a lot heavier but that **** happens a lot here, it sucks but you proved to have cojones, and yeah he was all crazy after you and it's hard to look good against someone like that, but you adjust well for the 2nd and 3rd rds, you counterpunch really good too.thanks man, eso fue en Aguada. It was like 12 midnight and cold as **** that night. He was coming forward alot with his head down so it kinda made me look bad, if he was boxing me it would have been better. I weighed 122 for this fight and the other guy was 128, so he was the heavier guy.Comment

Yea I'm from Aguadilla, I adjusted pretty good in the third round, my trainer just told me to jab him and dont go crazy throwing punches. I gotta work on my footwork tho and I'm slow as **** but heavy handed. Need to work on my speed too.Tu eres de alla? it was kinda hard to watch with those booty gifs uderneath getting my attention. lol
Hindsight is a good thing, at least you acknowledged what you did wrong.
However, if your gonna throw that straight... I noticed your back foot dragging abit during the bout, try having it on your toes so your always ready to throw that straight right without over reaching.Comment

you did ok brotha. a few things you need to work on is
1.your Defense. stick to the amatuer guard. learn to attack from it. learn to counter from it. you have to keep your D tight as hell or else those looping punches will make it through. when you're sitting in your D taking punches, you have to plant yourself. bend your lengs, stick your ass out (not gay, it just makes your back more solid and you won't get pushed around), tuck your elbows and shoulders. bring your shoulders to your ears and you won't have any hooks land flush. watch your opponent through your gloves.
2.footwork. keep them shoulder width apart at all times. practice this when you're training as much as you can. soon enough you won't even think about it. when you get the shoulder width thing down you should start learning your angles and learn how to set up your attacks.
3.punches. straighten them out. i know it's hard habit to break but it's well worth it. you gotta turn your hips and turn your toes too bro.
i know from experience that it feels like none of this **** will work when you're in the moment. but it does. if you can notice in the fight everytime you threw your jab the guy couldn't get to you. that's boxing. you have skill and will. just have to stay disciplined man. keep your cool. think clearly and stay focused. good luck brother.Comment
