ive only sparred and never have boxed professionally or have had an amatuer career so take my advice however you want.

you had an obvious reach advantage over your opponent. you waited for him to come in and didn't keep him at bay with any jab. he was so open and wreckless that a jab could have easily fustrated him. A jab followed by a straight and then pivot would have worked great against him. Everytime an opponent is coming straight at you with no defense, initiate offense as he gets in range and then side step. They get fustrated and even more careless and you can begin to break them down.

You will get better, What is the point of standing in the middle of the ring and covering up( you did that on 1st roud) never do that again. you are only offering your opponent to get some point from you.

Once you feel that you connencted hard.do not stop punching and catch you opponent again.

Do not try to fight like Roy Jones jr. You are flat footed and you can get KO'd with the defense down like that . RJR is something else he can get away with it.

          Good luck in the future.

yea, if I used the jab and a straight right more it would have been an easier fight, but when your in the ring you dont really think about all that lol. I was throwing haymakers like crazy

naww I dont try to fight like roy, thats just how I fight. I'm more of a come foward pressure fighter, but I can also fight off the back foot. I had my defense down like that in the last round cause my hands were heavy after all the bombs i threw

It looked a bit sloppy to me, watch it again, your swinging wild, its left right left right left right ......
Your defense is nowhere when your throwing shots because you are throwing wildly one shot after the other
Your shots arn't straight but cant be classed as hooks either.

If your looking for something to improve on learn to pick your shots, when your throwing your jab your other hand should be defending yourself (not leaving yourself open), work on your straight shots and hooks

You got wild in the first, and a bit careless but I know how it is in the amateurs here, most of the guys go out like that and you did well because you beat him on his own game and didn't tire. You did really good in the third, you boxed really nice and clinched when he got wild. Donde fue eso?

Nice combination at 4:09. Sigue metiendole.

Let me know what you guys think, dont come in here hatin', just let me know what I can work on

I think you looked a lot more composed and comfortable than the other fellow. He was swinging all over the place, tiring himself out.

Good that your analysing your fights, you can only improve

thanks man, eso fue en Aguada. It was like 12 midnight and cold as **** that night. He was coming forward alot with his head down so it kinda made me look bad, if he was boxing me it would have been better. I weighed 122 for this fight and the other guy was 128, so he was the heavier guy.
