After Green knocked him down with them bricks, Roy got up and got hit flush with nothing else. I think the fight was stopped a lil too soon as well.

if u think that stoppage was legit, then Ali should have been stopped agianst Foreman!

RJJ is an idiot. He shouldn't be allowed to fight when he is so far out of touch with reality.

Basically everything he says in the release is a great indicator that his brain is completely scrambled already.

it has nothing to do with being an idiot or having his brains scrambled. its just the pride of a champion.

great fighters have such a strong confidence they feel invincible, thats mental strenght and what makes them the great champions they are. weather they say it out loud or not 99% of the world class fighters out there have an excuse when they lose, no matter how badly they lose.

thats how they convince themselfs to keep coming back. ali, SRL, SRR and the list goes on of great fighters who refused to hang em up. RJJ isnt an idiot, he just has the same mentality as those great champions.

Poor Roy..... Stop making excuses. He really should stop fighting. He's old & not anywhere near as good as he use 2 be. Seeing him is like seeing Ken Griffey play baseball still. That's what's up. Roy was on the ropes, taking punches that were hitting his guard. Stoppage was premature, he could've fought on. Roy does utilize a "baby" rope-a-dope now anyway. Green was wasting punches, nothing more. That whole fight is a mystery, from the stoppage, to the punch that "barely" landed, to the wraps fiasco. Thats that 'ol bull, fa real. About the Tarver 2 fight, even though he got up from the Tarver knock down, he was outta there, that was a perfect call.

I am very scared for RJ in this fight, if Hopkins comes in with the mindset of knocking Roy out, he probably will. There are only so many times a guy can get put down before he loses his brain.

You all are still in denial when it comes to the Jones-Green fight. Jones did not throw a punch for more than 30 seconds between the knock down and the stoppage. He was also getting tagged with clean uppercuts and body shots and stumbling around the ring. In other words it was a good stoppage and I don't see how anyone can see it any other way?

The Tarver knock out was legit because although he got up before 10, he had no legs and after it was called off he was stumbling and nearly fell going to his corner it seemed. The Green stoppage? a bit early but he should have thrown back, no excuses.

Always was a fan of Rjjr, always will be but he needs to hang them up.. sadly.
