Kessler will win that one, but it will be a great fight. Froch as been very lucky so far...he is technically very ordinary and if you look at his last 3 fights, they were all very close.
If Froch would face Pascal again, he would lose for sure.
Froch was more than lucky that Taylor was dead for the last round...again !
The Dirrell fight was more than close, Dirrell just did run too much.
Kessler with a new trainer will bring a new energy and will overwork Froch with his jab and movement. Saying this, Froch is a fighter with a very high confidence level, very good stamina with lots of heart...but now fighters will respect that more than before and will go in the ring with a solid strategy and that's were Froch will have no answers or should i say, no tools to adjust.

He isn't gonna outbox Kessler. Kessler can take a ****load of pusnishment and never gets knocked out. He can expect a full 12 round fight. War Kessler.

rewatch froch/dirrell or pascal fights. both are faster and pascal is stronger than kessler. froch is faster than most think imo. his defense sucks still...

Both fights he's was getting caught clean...All he showed was a heart, willing to come forward, and eat punches/chin. Tough chins don't last forever. It will fail him against Kessler.

Kessler showed warrior spirit in fighting tik the 12th when he had been nutted outclassed and knocked about...he stayed til the end like a warrior against ward.

This fight will be a case of who has the better chin, and potentially could be a classic, expect a war!

I'm a reasonable Kessler fan don't get me wrong. I agree a few of those butt's were dodgey, but a warrior should have no major problems with being nutted.

On the contrary when Mikkel's pushed and being out toughed, roughed up or out classed he shows too little eagerness to adapt and attack back.

In short he has a tendency to get too passive. He's like the Andy Murray of boxing. A top performer, one of the best, but all too often doesn't perform as he should when pressed.

He should completely demolish Froch on all fronts, but he'll probably lose a couple rounds he needn't, have some shakey moments and maybe even get hurt once. Unless of course his new trainer really has tightened his game up tactically, and made him more adaptable.

Kessler shouldn't really lose another fight in the tourney based on skill set and styles. But annoying as it is, he may well do to Dirrell or Abraham.

I don't see him knocking Kessler out or down. I think Froch's style is tailor made for Kessler, a guy who doesn't give him many angles or slick movement. I see Kessler taking this one by UD or possible late tko..
