That fight was shizzle, should have been stopped in the first round. Clearly favoritism played a part in that result.

wazaa, So you think Marquez was concerned with Amir Khan's Yosser Hughes Billy Goat Head butt Technique.

No, the fight was effectively over after the headbutt which caused that huge gash. The fight should have been stopped and declared a non contest and a rematch made. I think Khan would have won the bout but that cut turned the fight into a farce. If it was Khan that was cut like that in the first round and made to fight until a points win was secured against him I am sure you would not be happy about it. There was some UK home town refereeing going on there and I did not like it at the time. I had the same feeling about dodgy home town refereeing when I watched the Nigel Benn Gerald McClellan fight when Benn should have been counted out in the first round and I was and am a Benn fan. McClellan won that fight the ref contributed to him being in the state he is in today and Ben getting the result. Despite being a Benn fan I will call it as I see it . I will give credit to Khan for taking the fight and finishing the job after the cut was made but I can't say Khan's performance was as impressive as you make it to be.

Khan would have beaten MAB anyway, though that cut made it A LOT easier. Marquez is more game than Barrera is at this point anyway and he's better suited for 135 or even 140.
