I saw on Real Sports that only a select group of elite athletes are chosen for random drug tests and almost all the time its done with urine sampling. Out of thousands of these tests, only a handful of them tested positive, most of them for weed and one guy for Propecia. **** is a joke.Comment

doesn't matter, it doesn't change the fact that yes, he can complain and even if you hit your head against the wall multiple times, there's nothing you can do about it... i'm sorry.Comment

Nice way to sidestep my comment, but nah, 14 days is not too close. Then again, who knows the many reasons why Pacs team didn't accept. If Pac was on PEDs wouldn't it make sense for him to just NOT take steroids, collect 40+ million and go down swinging? He was gonna retire soon anyways.Comment

Really is that why WADA has taken blood samples from Armstrong btw stages at Tour de Farce........??
WADA, USADA etc will blood and urine test whenever they feel like it at any time........a 14 day cut off was a very good compromise........
- 50/50 money split
- 8 oz gloves
- standard ring
- 10 mil per pound penalty
- Mayweather vs Pac (May's name first)
All fair. Yet Pac needs a 30 day cut-off.....14 days is down the middle just like everything else....more than fair....but Manny ran from Floyd just like he ran from Raheem.......Comment

I know I'm not the only one who saw the interview after the first Morales fight. If I am then I'll summarize the interview. Before the first Pacquiao/Morales fight there was a urine and blood test done to both fighters 2-3 weeks before the weigh in. Pacquiao's camp got a call saying that there needed to be another test done because somehow his medical record was lost. This was requested 2-3 days before the weigh in. Pacquiao's camp had no problem doing it because it was the NSAC requesting it. Anyway, he did the test and we all know what happened in the fight. In the interview Pacquiao said that he felt his punches had no power behind them and that it was due to the blood testing that was done just before the weigh in. He said that he was dehydrating to make the weight and he felt fatigued going into the fight because of the test. Now, Pacquiao is a superstitious fighter (he still wraps his own hands before a fight). It doesn't surprise me that he would be opposed to the random testing especially if they do the testing up to 2 days before the weigh in. The last fight he lost was to Morales and so it could be just a whole mental thing that he has. In fairness, I think it only affected him because he was draining himself to make weight. Now that he's fighting at 147 he shouldn't have anything to worry about. And like the Morales fight, if the commission mandates that he has to test before the weigh in, I have no doubt that he would do so again. Do I think Mayweather exploited this mental weakness? of course he did. Did he think it would go as far as it did? of course not. Mayweather can't go back on his demand because he looks too much like the good guy in this. In trying to get at Pacquiao mentally, he not only attributed to the fight being called off but he also raised questions on Pacquiao's achievments.Comment
