The big difference is that Gatti tried to box with Floyd. Even if Shane attempts to box with Mayweather, he will immediately begin to fight once he starts losing rounds. Shane has excellent durability, and Mayweather fights even more defensive minded these days. He was reluctant to go after Marquez.
