Sadam Ali...A future champ?

There was a lot of hype about this dude a couple of years ago when he was still an amateur. When he turned pro he was going to be someone to watch because of his boxingskills and big heart etc....basically a future champ.

He turned pro last year 5 (KO 2) but the hype is gone and I haven't really seen or read anything about him. How many of you guys have seen him fight? Is he any good?

I watched all the olympic boxing and I wasn't impressed by him. So far he looks very feather fisted and most of those kind of guys I don't give much of a chance of doing extremely well, unless of course, they have amazing boxing skills/iq. Ali might become an okay fighter but a world champion, I doubt. I'm more interested in Wilder(of course), Warren, Andrade, Russell, Estrada,and Williams.

I saw him box a fighter from my gym at the Ringside World championship tournament, in 2006. He won by decision. I didn't know he turned pro though.

He was fighting for Dibella but they split ways before his last fight. I don't know who asked for the split but the fact that he only has 5 fights so far makes me think they want to take their time with him.

HE is good. Good speed and power. I see him becoming a champion.

Fighting on may 21st in new york on 130 bowery street. fights been somewhat hard to come by being hes a free agent whos never been signed since turning pro. But a very good fighter under the radar since coming off his lost in the olympics. Hes a boxer to watch .. Very promising future

I saw lots of vids of this kid on youtube and had high expectations of him in 2008 olympics. But he didn't even make it past the first round which is dissappointing.

I think he's got skills...met him once or twice...not really a puncher

Main problem is he aint signed with anyone...he does box outta Havoc Gym tho...same as Joe Greene, Danny Jacobs, and others...
