Agreed. Not so worried about the health of the sport though - more worried about the health of Jones.

I agree. If they wanted to make it for the fans, they would of done so long time ago. Not 17 years later.

I think Chad Dawson is considered number 1 and certainly would by people who truly follow the sport. But I don't disagree with you on how bad this fight is. Especially after Jones dismal showing against Green. The fight shouldn't happen and Jones should have never fought Green to be honest unless he really needed the money.

Hopkins should be ashamed for even picking on Jones. Hes no better then Calzaghe in that regard.

I agree. I don't understand Jones hanging around the sport like this unless he really needs money.

Because I'd rather watch it in HD on a big ass TV then a ****ty ass stream on my computer. If you get 5 friends to go in on it, it's only like 10 bucks a piece.

Well, in Hopkins defense he has taken on some challenges in his old age including, Tarver, Calzaghe, and Pavlik. So it's not like he's been going after easy fights. I'll give him a pass at 45 for taking this fight even though it's a horrible match-up. Other than Calzaghe, Jones has wisely avoided live competition since the third Tarver fight. But it backfired on him against Green. That was inevitable for a fighter who is way past it tries to get by on set ups.
