I personally don't think any fighter in history could KO Hopkins.

Hopkins defense combined with his footwork made him really hard to hit clean, and when you did hit him clean, not only was his chin good enough to take a good shot but a fighter could never capitalise on it due to Hopkins defense and craftyness getting him out of the way of the next shot.

Hopkins would not get knocked out not in his prime, he's a defense first fighter with great skills.

It's extremely hard to catch him clean and when you do it's never a knockout punch it's usually a tap and if you fail he'll counter you.

Someone has obviously only watched Hopkins fight when he was a OAP.

Hopkins when he was younger however didn't do that. Try watching some of his earlier fights before assuming that has been his fight style throughout his career.

agree 100% as he got older and less use of his legs he started to grab and hold more. Stamina will do that too you and trying to make 160 with his frame and being close to 40

That was my guess Monzon. I do think hagler has a chance but I see Hopkins not getting drawn into a war with him. Hopkins was too smart for that and at 160 he had legs and slipped punches hagler has short arms and would need to get close to Hopkins I don' t think he had the foot speed to get to Hokpins....Lefty

If the referee would do his job, plenty, but when you're allowed to cheat, hold, headbutt the entire fight, what do you expect. One punch, hold, one punch, headbutt, one punch, hold.

youre an idiot hopkins was a beast in his 20s, I honestly believe he could have fought 15+ rounds back then.
