Amir Khan has better boxing skills (jab, reflexes and etc.), better handspeed and more heart. Victor only wins in the chin and power section.

So Amir is better.

Khan has more power than Ortiz

altho im not a great Khan fan - chek out his amatuer record....

he actually already beat Victor Ortiz in the final of the Junior Olympics in 2003.... by stoppage too.... so i think that answers the question:

Thanks for your reply, but If you read my whole thread i already stated that Khan beat Ortiz in the amateurs, but they have both come along way since then. Could you honestly see Khan stopping Ortiz in 2 rounds now?

It's a toss up for me, I think there's a KO very fast in that fight.

Over skills wise I would back Khan here. But Khan might not be able to beat Ortiz. That is a question mark because it is hard to tell how Khan would stand up to a puncher.

I agree Khan has dramatically improved. I think his punch resistance is good and also Freddie has built his legs .

Only reason he had bad chin was Freddie argued Khan had too big upper body and too weak legs at lightweight before and on the prescott fight. Amir was also wEIGHT DRAINED AT LIGHTWEIGHT.

Now amir needs to be tested by Ortiz's [Power] and we'll see his improvements in taking a punch.

If the fight happens i go for Khan

Victor Ortiz has more accurate punches with power and hes almost as fast as khan...people think that amir is better because he spars with pac but lets not forget Ortiz also sparred with pac when he was with top rank and he also sparred with an undrained de la hoya...thwlere is no doubt that Ortiz will land shots to khan's chin or anywhere...Ortiz has the power to knock anyone out and his punches are short...hes used to fighting taller guys like mausa and resto...if he fights khan I think his short punches will KO khan in 4 rounds...even with a freddie roach game plan Ortiz will win if you can't hurt him which khan can't do
