Totally agree with every comment so far. Khan is clearly being protected.

Even though I think Paulie is deserving of a title shot after beating Diaz, and I think it's a good fight, it's another good indicator to me that he is being protected, and his team is worried about his chin.

Can you imagine a less threatening fight for a fighter who has serious chin issues?

Im afraid Amir is underestimating Paulie. Ever since Paulie hooked up with his new trainer, Sharif hes been looking slicker than ever. I dont know how Amir will do against slick boxers cus the last time he fough a slick boxer (Mario Kindelan) we all knew what happened then.

wazaa, Khan won't be fighting Paulie next. Golden Boy will want their money's worth out of the 3 fight deal. Paulie is capable of throwing a spanner in the works and out pointing Khan . Then Golden Boy are screwed for the next 2 fights. It is going to be a Salita level fighter,it might even be a Salita in Madison Square Garden. They will say Salita was caught cold and the crowd got to him. Lots of fighters will be talked about but that is part of the publicity build up but Maidana ,Marquez were also talked about, Paulie is not really a safer fight than Maidana the only difference is is the way Khan would lose. In Paulie's case Khan would retain some dignity by being outpointed in Maidana's case if he lost he would be KOd. But IMO if the fights went the distance there is no chance Maidana would out point him but a good chance Paulie would.
