Hey Khan, go back to 135!

First I'd like to start off by saying I am NOT a huge JMM fan, and I have no hatred towards Amir Khan.

Now that I've removed myself from fan boy attacks, I'll continue by saying I am fed up with Amir Khan. I was one of the few who felt confident in Freddie Roach's word and assume he was not ducking Maidana. But then I saw his "hitlist", which consisted of Marquez, Juan Diaz, Katsidis, Malignaggi and Campbell. Not a bad selection of opponents, right? Wrong. Three of these fighters are natural lightweights, one is a natural featherweight who isn't very good above 135, three are shot/past their prime, two are old and the one 140 pounder he chose is feather fisted...Why is a 140 pounder calling out lightweights? I think if he wants to fight lightweights so badly then he needs to go back down to 135 instead of blowing them up. Then he wouldn't look like a cherry picker. I can respect if someone cannot handle a certain weight class and wants to stay lower. We have classes for a reason. But if he's not gonna fight the top tier light welterweights like Tim Bradley, Maidana, Judah, Alexander, Holt, Urango or even Valero who plans on moving up, then why even stay at 140? Many say they're concerned about his chin, so if he can't handle big punchers then he'd better move back down. Who knows, maybe he'll avenge his only loss against Prescott.

BoxerDood, Khan won't be fighting any of the fighters you mentioned. They will be talked about for sure as possible opponents just like Maidana, Marquez and Hatton were. That gets lots of print but when it comes down to it I think we can safely say his first fight will be against someone of Salita's quality a bit better than Oisin ***an but that is what is most likely coming up.
